Product Description
Grade 304 stainless steel is one of the most commonly used
austenitic stainless steels with a thickness typically ranging from
0.4 mm to 6 mm or more. These sheets are used in various
applications across industries due to their corrosion resistance,
strength, and aesthetic appeal.It contains high levels of chromium
(around 18%) and nickel (around 8%), which give it excellent
corrosion resistance and durability.In cold rolling, the stainless
steel is processed at room temperature or slightly below it. This
process involves passing the stainless steel sheet through a series
of rollers to reduce its thickness and improve its surface finish.
Cold rolling helps to achieve tighter tolerances, smoother
surfaces, and better mechanical properties compared to hot rolling.
