Product Description
Both 304 stainless steel plates and 304L stainless steel plates
have excellent resistance to various corrosive media, including
acids, alkalis and chlorides. They are commonly used in the food
and beverage industry, chemical processing plants, the
pharmaceutical industry, and a variety of other applications where
corrosion resistance is critical. 304/304L stainless steel plates
are relatively economical stainless steel plate products with
excellent cutting performance.
Features:
High temperature resistance of 304 stainless steel plate and 304L
stainless steel plate:
Temperature Resistance: Both grades have good resistance to high
temperatures, up to approximately 870°C (1600°F).
However, prolonged exposure to temperatures above 500°C (932°F) can
result in reduced corrosion resistance.
It is important to note that while 304 and 304L stainless steel
plates are similar, slight differences in carbon content between
the
two grades may affect their performance in certain applications.
Therefore, the appropriate grade must be selected based on the
specific needs of the project.
Technical Data:
Stainless steel plates are not as easy to stain, corrode or rust as
ordinary carbon steel, and have high strength and impact resistance
as well as aesthetics.
304 stainless steel also has antibacterial properties and is easy
to clean and disinfect.
304 stainless steel plate and 304L stainless steel plate both need
to have anti-oxidation properties and are durable stainless steel
plates.
