As an important industrial construction material, stainless steel
plate is widely used in various fields due to its excellent
corrosion resistance, mechanical properties and processing
performance.
Among the 300 series stainless steel plates, the 304 series is the
most cost-effective and corrosion-resistant stainless steel grade,
and the 304 stainless steel grade is divided into 304L, 304N1,
304N2 and 304LN common grades, each of which has different
characteristics and applications
304L stainless steel plate is a low-carbon version of 304 stainless
steel plate, where "L" stands for low carbon. Compared with 304,
304L has a lower carbon content, which helps reduce carbide
precipitation and improve the corrosion resistance of welded
joints.
304L stainless steel plate is particularly suitable for occasions
where welding is required, such as chemical equipment, food
processing equipment, etc.
304L has excellent processing performance and formability, and 304L
is also widely used in construction, furniture and decoration.
304N1 stainless steel plate
304N1 is a nitrogen-containing stainless steel, where "N" stands
for nitrogen. The addition of nitrogen can improve the strength and
corrosion resistance of stainless steel.
Compared with 304, 304N1 has higher yield strength and tensile
strength while maintaining good plasticity and toughness.
304N1 stainless steel performs well in situations where it is
subjected to heavy loads and high stresses
The addition of nitrogen improves the pitting and crevice corrosion resistance of 304N1, making it more durable in certain harsh environments
304N2 stainless steel plate
304N2 is similar to 304N1 and is also a nitrogen-containing stainless steel. However, 304N2 has a higher nitrogen content, which further improves its strength and corrosion resistance.
Compared with 304N1, 304N2 has higher yield strength and tensile strength, as well as better resistance to pitting and crevice corrosion.
304N2 stainless steel has broad application prospects in marine engineering, chemical industry, and petroleum
Due to the increase in nitrogen content, the processing performance of 304N2 may be affected to a certain extent, so appropriate measures need to be taken during processing
304LN stainless steel plate
304LN is a composite version of 304L and 304N, where "LN" stands
for Low Carbon and Nitrogen
304LN combines the low carbon characteristics of 304L and the
nitrogen characteristics of 304N, and has both excellent welding
performance and high strength and corrosion resistance.
304LN stainless steel plate has unique advantages in situations
where both weldability and high strength are required. For example,
in the fields of oil and gas pipelines, chemical equipment and
marine engineering, 304LN is widely used due to its excellent
performance.
