316, 316L and 316Ti stainless steel plates are all
molybdenum-containing austenitic stainless steels with good
corrosion resistance
316 stainless steel: a chromium-nickel based steel, with higher
resistance to a variety of substances due to the addition of
molybdenum, and has a specific resistance to chlorine pitting
316L stainless steel: is an ultra-low carbon steel of 316 stainless
steel, with a much lower carbon content than 316. It is suitable
for areas where carbon precipitation needs to be avoided, usually
for welded parts, with good welding performance, generally no heat
treatment is required after welding, and no tendency to knife edge
corrosion
316Ti stainless steel: is a stable grade with a small amount of
titanium added to 316 stainless steel (usually only about 0.5%).
The addition of titanium improves its resistance to intergranular
corrosion and allows long-term use at high temperatures without
being affected by precipitation. It also contains molybdenum, which
enhances its resistance to corrosion, pitting in chloride solutions
and high temperature environments, and is also resistant to acids
such as sulfuric acid, hydrochloric acid, and acid sulfates.
