304 stainless steel plate is a common material among stainless
steel. It belongs to austenitic stainless steel. Its main
components include chromium (Cr) content of 18% - 20%, nickel (Ni)
content of 8% - 10.5%, and a small amount of carbon (C), silicon
(Si), manganese (Mn), phosphorus (P), sulfur (S) and other
elements. It is also called 18/8 stainless steel in the industry.

Features:
Good corrosion resistance: It has strong corrosion resistance to
oxidizing acids, such as nitric acid below the boiling temperature
with a concentration of ≤65%; it also has good corrosion resistance
to alkaline solutions and most organic and inorganic acids.
Excellent hot and cold processing and forming performance: It can
be processed to produce various products such as plates, tubes,
wires, strips, and shapes, and is suitable for manufacturing parts
for cold heading, deep drawing, and deep drawing.
Good low-temperature performance: At -180℃, the strength,
elongation, and cross-sectional shrinkage are very good. Since
there is no brittle transition temperature, it is often used at low
temperatures.
Good welding performance: It can be welded by the usual welding
method, and no heat treatment is required before and after welding.
Has a stable austenite structure: It has a stable austenite
structure at room temperature.
Performance parameters: density 7.93g/cm³, tensile strength 520MPa,
conditional yield strength 205MPa, elongation 40%, cross-sectional
reduction 60%, hardness 187HBW, 90HRB, 200HV, melting point 1398 -
1454℃.
