Size introduction
Small channel steel specifications:
Small stainless steel channel steels such as 40×20×3 (waist height
40 mm, leg width 20 mm, waist thickness 3 mm) are suitable for some
small structures or decorative structures that do not require high
space and load.
Medium channel steel specifications:
Medium-sized channel steels such as 63×40×4.8 (waist height 63 mm,
leg width 40 mm, waist thickness 4.8 mm), 80×43×5 (waist height 80
mm, leg width 43 mm, waist thickness 5 mm) are widely used in
general building structures, industrial equipment frames, etc.
Large channel steel specifications:
180×90×7 (180 mm waist height, 90 mm leg width, 7 mm waist
thickness), 200×100×9 (200 mm waist height, 100 mm leg width, 9 mm
waist thickness) and other large stainless steel channel steels are
often used in supporting structures of large buildings, bases of
large machinery and equipment, and other occasions with high
requirements for bearing capacity.
Channel steel is expressed in millimeters of waist height (h) × leg
width (b) × waist thickness (d)
For example, 120×53×5 channel steel means waist height of 120 mm,
leg width of 53 mm, and waist thickness of 5 mm.
The model is usually expressed in centimeters of waist height, such
as the above channel steel is also called 12# channel steel. If the
waist height is the same but the leg width and waist thickness are
different, you need to add a, b, c, etc. to the right of the model
to distinguish them, such as 25a#, 25b#, 25c#, etc.
